Tim has over 30 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing across several senior global leadership roles and as a brand leader in the UK and Australia. He is passionate about innovative marketing and building world class marketing capabilities to drive business performance. An excellent strategic thinker with a proven aptitude to achieve results, his strengths include cross-functional leadership and an ability to successfully influence at all levels across global organizations to implement change.
Prior to joining DT Consulting, Tim was an independent consultant, working with companies, including GSK, Pfizer and Novo Nordisk, on projects in areas of launch and marketing excellence. Tim previously held global leadership roles at AstraZeneca where he was the Global Commercial Lead for the launch of the statin CRESTOR®. He was responsible for developing the global commercial strategy and providing commercial input to the global development team from the start of Phase III to its launch in over 60 countries. He helped shape the life-cycle management strategy, which created the foundations for one of the world’s largest global brands. At AstraZeneca, Tim also held influential roles as Head of Global Strategic Communications and Head of the Global Marketing Academy.
Tim received a bachelor’s degree (Bsc) in Applied Biological Sciences, Microbiology, from Manchester Metropolitan University.
