Shawn has more than twenty-seven years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. During this time, he has held leadership roles in market research and forecasting, business development, strategic planning, marketing, and multichannel management. Shawn is an organizational intrapreneur; on multiple occasions, he has built business cases to support investment in and creation of new departments and the expansion of existing ones. While Shawn is passionate about challenging the status quo, he is careful to ensure that strategic and tactical plans are aligned, integrated, and tied back to KPIs and product forecasts.
Prior to joining DT Consulting, Shawn was the VP of marketing and integrated multichannel management (iMCM) at Teva Pharmaceuticals. Over a five-year period, Shawn built Teva’s iMCM center of excellence, supporting more than fifteen products and multiple product launches. Shawn combines this ability to build out high-performing new departments with several years of experience leading therapeutic franchises and managing P&Ls for products, franchises, and departments. He has built a reputation as a highly regarded team leader with a demonstrated ability to set vision for new initiatives and lead change management.
Shawn received a bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in management and finance, with honors, from Purdue University and an M.B.A. in marketing and international business, with honors, from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
