Rob is a leader with more than twenty years of experience a variety of business sectors. This broad experience enables him to manage multidisciplinary projects, confront complex challenges, and tackle big projects. In the course of his career, Rob has worn many hats—including marketer, business owner, and technology director—and specializes in program management, mobile, sales and marketing, personnel development, digital transformation, creative direction of UX/UI development, and IT architecture.
Prior to joining DT Consulting, Rob was the head of digital projects at Takeda Pharmaceuticals, where he led the intake of all digital products and was instrumental in the success of Takeda’s Digital Service Line (DSL), which was a key endeavor the process of infusing Agile techniques into project delivery at the firm. Other projects that Rob led at Takeda included the delivery of the first version of the company’s global healthcare provider portal and the rollout of My Takeda in fifty-two locations around the world. Prior to his work at Takeda, Rob managed the successful digital integration of the Ahold and Delhaize supermarket chains and was part of the team that set up Johnson & Johnson’s Global Healthcare Exchange in Europe. At Adidas, Rob was leading the HQ team to define the global digital platform together with the local digital experiences team.
Rob received a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the University of Cape Town.
