A global pharmaceutical company sought a partner to support three main areas of the development of a three-year late-lifecycle brand strategy for a newly acquired brand: targeting and positioning, customer journey, and omnichannel blueprint.

As the firm’s knowledge of the target group for this new therapeutic area was insufficient, DT started by assessing the target audience and competitive landscape and leading the effort to identify the right target and define product positioning for each of the selected EU countries. We then developed HCP personas and their customer journeys for optimal multichannel marketing engagement. To support local brand strategy execution, DT created an omnichannel blueprint with customer segmentation and journeys, content strategy, channel selection, and campaign planning.
